Macomb Community College Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Twigg has signed Keith Phillips of Warren-Mott to a national letter of intent.
Phillips played varsity basketball under coach Jeff Olind.  He averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds per game last season.  Phillips received All-State Honorable Mention, was first team All Macomb County, first team All-East honors, and Macomb Area Conference White Division MVP.  He led Warren-Mott to a MAC White Championship and a 20-2 overall record. Phillips plans to major in engineering.
“Signing Keith Phillips is a huge addition to our program.  We watched him develop and have a great senior season at Warren-Mott High School under coach Jeff Olind.  Keith is a super talented, hard-working and unselfish team player.  He is the type of player we will build our team around.  We are looking forward to helping Keith develop as a player and a student, as he sets his sights on moving to the next level after Macomb,” said Twigg.
