Oakland offered him in late June, Frascone said. <br />Frascone said the offer
came as a preferred walk-on with the possibility of becoming a scholarship
player.<br />Of his future coach, Frascone said of Kampe, "He's not a soft coach.
He'll get on you if you make mistakes." </div>

<span style="font-size: 11pt;">Tyler Sykes of Stevenson has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Marygrove College in Detroit, Mustangs coach Dave Sichterman said. Sykes, a 6-foot-1 combo guard, became the fifth 2013 recruit to join Marygrove, a member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 11pt;">Sykes averaged 18 points per game and was named to the All-Macomb County team as a senior. He led Stevenson in scoring as a junior and senior.</span><br />

In high school, Rasche was twice named All-County.<br />
Rasche played at both New Haven and L'Anse Creuse North. In addition to her athletic awards, she was all-academic all four years in high school. She completed high school with a 3.91 grade point average.<br />

Rayshawn Griffin, a 6-0, 190-pound guard, has signed to play at MCC for Jim Twigg, the men's basketball coach.<br />
Playing for high school coach Tedaro France, Griffin captained the New Haven team during his junior and
senior seasons.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Griffin scored over 1,000 points during his prep career. He was named to the All-State, All-County and All-Conference
teams.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He was also named the Rockets' MVP.<br />
In addition to basketball, Griffin also played football and soccer.<br />
He is the son of Mary Thomas and George

years in high school at Huntington North in Huntington, Indiana, before moving to
Michigan to live with her aunt and uncle. Charlie Roddis, the Center Line coach, is also her uncle.</span><br />

Line, Okuly broke four school records, two pool records (Anchor Bay and Lance
Creuse North) and one county record (100 backstroke.) </span><br />

the most successful swimmer in program history; a two-time All-State performer in the
100 backstroke. In her senior year, she finished third in the 100

has recruited a number of Macomb County players to help the Titans defend their 2012
Horizon League regular season championship. They are Robbie Beckwell of Ford,
Eisenhower’s Ryan Goike and Spencer Steinwascher of Stevenson.<o:p></o:p></span></span><br />
<span class="apple-converted-space"><span style="background: white; color: black; font-family: "Courier New"; font-size: 12pt;">Beckwell </span></span><span style="background: white; color: black; font-family: "Courier New"; font-size: 12pt;">earned
two varsity letters as the goalie for the Falcons. Among his biggest thrills was
playing with the Michigan Wolves when the team advanced to the USSDA finals
week where he came off the bench to make two saves in a penalty shootout.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="background: white; color: black; font-family: "Courier New"; font-size: 12pt;">Goike, a 6-0 midfielder, earned three varsity
letters. He scored 30 goals and six assists his senior year, earning the MAC
Red MVP. He was named to the 2012 MHSSCA Dream Team and All-State first team in
2012. He was also honored as All-District and All-Conference his senior year.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="background: white; color: black; font-family: "Courier New"; font-size: 12pt;">Steinwascher is a four-year letter winner at
Stevenson. He will join his brother, Nathan Steinwascher, on the UDM roster.
Spencer was named team captain and team MVP his senior year and was an
All-District, All-Conference and All-State Honorable Mention honoree.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

Macomb Community
College Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Twigg has signed Keith Phillips of Warren-Mott to a
national letter of intent.<br />
Phillips played varsity basketball under coach Jeff Olind.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds per
game last season.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Phillips received
All-State Honorable Mention, was first team All Macomb County, first team All-East
honors, and Macomb Area Conference White Division MVP.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He led Warren-Mott to a MAC White Championship and
a 20-2 overall record. Phillips plans
to major in engineering. <o:p></o:p><br />
“Signing Keith Phillips is a huge addition to our

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Kayla Kane of Utica High was one of five players who signed national softball letters of intent with Detroit Mercy, Lady Titans coach Liz Young said. </span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;">Kane can play anywhere in the field and can add depth behind the plate. She had a .350 batting average in 2012 with Utica and was named all-conference and all-district. “She has a hunger to play the game well,” said Young. “She has a selfless, team-first attitude and she will be a force anywhere we put her.</span></div>
