Eisenhower's Collins signs with Siena Heights soccer


Kaysey Collins of Eisenhower has signed a letter of intent to join the Siena Heights men’s soccer team. He plans to major in business at Siena Heights. “The campus life and ability to play soccer,” Collins said when listing factors in his decision.

Utica's Johnson signs with Siena Heights soccer


Justin Johnson of Utica High has signed a letter of intent to join the Siena Heights men’s soccer team. He plans to be a sport management major at Siena Heights.  "Once I met the team and saw how close they were, I wanted to be part of that brotherhood,” Johnson said. "I like how close the team is and how the campus looks." Johnson is pictured with his mother.

Roseville's Zundel to attend Detroit Mercy

Doug Zundel of Roseville, who in December 2011 became the second wrestler to win four Macomb County Invitational championships, plans to enroll at Detroit Mercy. Zundel plans to study criminal justice at UDM.

Senior Karl Schneider of Lakeview has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career with Concordia University in Ann Arbor. Schneider bats and throws right. He has a 3.37 GPA at Lakeview.

Lincoln stars Streetman, Johnson sign with Wayne State

Macomb County All-Stars Brittany Streetman and Lairren Johnson of Lincoln have signed basketball and football letters of intent, respectively, with Wayne State.
Streetman is pictured with Abes girls basketball coach Lyle Turner, and Johnson with Lincoln football coach John Moher.
Streetman was a high-scoring guard and Johnson a running back at Lincoln.

MCC signs Madison basketball standout Bradley

William Bradley of Madison High School has signed a basketball letter of intent with Macomb Community College, Monarchs coach Jim Twigg said. Bradley averaged nine points and 10 assists per game as a senior at Madison, helping the Eagles win the Macomb Area Conference Blue Division championship. He also played quarterback for the Madison football team. Bradley is pictured with his father, Bill, and Twigg.

Anchor Bay bowler Fader chooses Valparaiso

Kelsey Fader of Anchor Bay has signed a letter of intent to continue her bowling career at Valparaiso University in Indiana. Fader, who averaged 191 per game as a senior, was named Miss Bowling for Macomb County for the 2011-12 season. She is pictured with the Mr. Bowling award winner, Jonathan Kovalcik of Richmond.
